Method

Before you adjust your 0/0/0 positions, turn your fourth axix by 3 degrees so that the cutting edge points downwards to establish the rake angle! Also make sure the depth value of your cut reflects the additional depth needed by the 3 degree angle!

Make a raw fly cutter out of round material, e.g. EN8 or D2, by using the "Raw Fly Cutter" Code from the menu above.
When done, turn your fourth axix by 3 degrees so that the cutting edge points downwards, and then put your end mill where you want the cutter tip to be (so take off a tiny bit of material off and then set to 0).
When cut, pre-finish, harden, anneal to light straw, and finish off.
